Set up your CRA direct deposit

Set up your Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) direct deposit for the first time or switch your existing direct deposit information from another financial institution to your BlueShore account.

CRA direct deposit payment options

The following CRA payments can be received by direct deposit:

  • Income tax refund
  • Goods and services tax / Harmonized sales tax (GST/HST) credit
  • Canada child benefit (CCB)
  • Canada workers’ benefit
  • Related provincial and territorial payments
  • Deemed overpayment of tax

Set up direct deposit using Online Banking

To set up CRA direct deposit, log onto Online Banking through your desktop computer (note, you cannot currently set this up using our Mobile App).

  • In the left-hand menu, select Account Services.
  • In the submenu, select Set Up CRA Direct Deposit.
  • Be sure to review the Payment Information, then click Next.
  • Select the account you would like the funds deposited into, then verify that your name and date of birth match the information on file with CRA.
  • Check off your authorization to let BlueShore Financial share your banking information with the CRA for the purpose of establishing or changing your direct deposit.
  • Click Next, review the information, then click Submit.
