Matt’s approach to building long lasting client relationships is through creating open and honest dialogue. “To best assist my clients, I need to know everything about them and their financial objectives. I believe clients need that sentiment reciprocated back from the advisor through open dialogue. This helps us establish the high level of trust that is required to feel comfortable sharing important parts of their own lives.”

A proponent of life-long learning, Matt continues to augment his work experience with a strong education, having obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and completing the Canadian Securities Course.

Matt puts his expertise to good use by actively listening to his clients’ needs and then providing personalized recommendations to help them achieve their short- and long-term goals.

“The favourite part of my role is the personal satisfaction I get when a client experiences that 'ah-ha' moment and realizes that they can achieve their goal, whether that is purchasing a property, retiring at a desired age, or transferring wealth. Sometimes this means uncovering options and strategies that the client did not realize were available to them.”
